AudioZone — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how M3 Beatz LLC., doing business as M3 Beatz ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the AudioZone mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using AudioZone, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary
- AudioZone is an on-device audio library and player. Most of what you do — importing tracks, creating groups, writing notes, playing audio — stays on your device.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
- Optional features (Cloud Sync, iCloud backup, Link over Wi-Fi) only activate data transfer when you explicitly turn them on.
- Payment for the Cloud Sync subscription is handled by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information stored only on your device
The following data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you enable an optional cloud feature:
- Audio files you import, record, or receive via Share Sheet.
- Library metadata (track names, tags, durations, artwork references, groups, playlists).
- Notes (rich-text content you attach to tracks).
- App preferences (theme, accent color, sort options, playback settings).
This data is stored locally using your device's file system and an on-device database (Isar). You can delete it at any time by removing items in the App or uninstalling the App.
2.2 Information collected when you use Cloud Sync (optional subscription)
If you subscribe to Cloud Sync and sign in, we process the following data to provide the service:
- Account information: an email address you provide to sign in, and an anonymous user identifier.
- Library metadata: track names, groups, notes, tags, timestamps, and references needed to keep your library consistent across devices.
- Audio file content: copies of tracks you choose to sync.
- Device information: a generated device ID used to reconcile changes across multiple devices.
This data is stored using Supabase (our cloud backend provider) in encrypted databases and object storage. Supabase acts as our processor and is bound by its own security and data-processing obligations. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.
You can disable Cloud Sync at any time from Settings → Cloud Sync. You can request deletion of your Cloud Sync data by emailing realm3beatz@gmail.com.
2.3 Information collected for purchases
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to verify receipts and manage subscription state.
We receive from RevenueCat and/or Apple:
- An anonymous RevenueCat app-user ID.
- Subscription status (active, expired, in grace period), product identifier, renewal date, original purchase date, and the country code of your App Store account.
We do not receive your name, email, payment method, card number, address, or any other payment details from Apple.

2.4 Crash and diagnostic data
AudioZone does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. If you opt in to share diagnostic data with Apple from your iPhone's Settings, Apple may share aggregated crash reports with us. These reports do not identify you personally.
2.5 iCloud backup (free, on-device)
If you enable iCloud backup in Settings, the App copies tracks and library data into your own iCloud Drive account under the AudioZone container. This data stays in your Apple account; we have no access to it.
2.6 Link over Wi-Fi (LAN only)
The "Link" feature starts a local web server that is reachable only from other devices on your same Wi-Fi network. Files travel directly between your devices over your local network. The feature does not transmit data to us or any third party.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Provide the App's features (playback, library management, notes).
- Deliver, sync, and restore your library across devices when you use Cloud Sync.
- Verify and maintain your subscription entitlement.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
- Diagnose bugs reported directly to us by email.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or resale.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the following bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the App and the Cloud Sync subscription you have chosen.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the App secure and to respond to your support questions.
- Consent — for any optional feature you turn on (Cloud Sync, iCloud backup).
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws (e.g., tax records for subscription purchases).
5. Sharing of Information
We share limited information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to provide the App:
- Apple — payment processing and App Store operations.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Supabase — cloud storage and authentication for Cloud Sync.
- Law enforcement or regulators — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
6. Data Retention
- On-device data: kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Cloud Sync data: kept while your subscription is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted, unless a shorter period is required by law. You may request earlier deletion.
- Subscription records: kept as long as required by tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including TLS in transit and at-rest encryption provided by our cloud providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
AudioZone is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data ("right to erasure").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (receive a copy in a machine-readable format).
- Withdraw consent for optional features at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email realm3beatz@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Cloud Sync account. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You have the right to request disclosure, deletion, correction, and non-discrimination. To exercise these rights, email realm3beatz@gmail.com.
10. International Transfers
If you use Cloud Sync from outside the United States, your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. By using Cloud Sync you consent to these transfers. Where required, transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards with our processors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at the same URL and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect.
